Shields and Yarnell, are they the last of a dying breed?

My 11 year-old and I saw Shields and Yarnell here in Southern CA last evening. They blew us both away! They are still doing the stuff they did in the 70's. Man are they both in great shape. They were funny and yet could do a mime that could envoke tears.

I had forgotten they are the ones Micheal Jackson copied when he would do the robot. Still nobody does it like them!

They are also very gracious with their older fans as well as the young ones. I am hopeful they will come back to TV and show off their talent to a whole new generation of kids. Mime isn't a dead art form!

A must see! Go to Youtube, I think that is the site that has an old clip of them performing. Also Robert Shields has a site too; www.robertshields.com

they took the art of mime to whole new levels....their energy and physical humor was (and apparently is ) unbelievable...i mean...to mime a cannonball being shot from a cannon is a classic!...and it's so great that they perform a show that adults and their children can both enjoy....

and now...in the words of marcel marceu, " "....
