i'm thinking of performing in my town's outdoor music festival. it's a kinda small but there's a lot of publicity. i'm going to be dj-ing some mixes from my computer but i need something else to make it more exciting. any ideas? i was thinking of adding video art (like have a projector showing videos to go along with the music) but that's a lot to do and a lot to buy. does anyone have any ideas of what i could add to my set to make it more visually interesting?

I would have someone to help you while you mix the tunes:
take several web cams , take stills of people faces and show them on the screen once every 5 seconds or so. There are many free picture sideshow programs that can help but you would still need to take the photos int he first place while they are enjoying your work
